It Follows premiered in the Cannes
Film Festival recently and ushers in a whole new type of horror, filled
with suspense and detailing. Director David Robert Mitchell
has delivered a masterpiece in horror, leaving the audience to grasp
the story and it is characters. The locales, the not too teenage horror
classic scenes and also the background score are why is this film a
stand-out.
The writer (Maika Monroe), a teenage
girl incorporates a sexual encounter with Hugh (Jake Weary), which
results in Jay being bound half-naked. He confesses to her that your
phantom like figure have been following him, after a new previous sexual
encounter, and he has now passed it through to her. The phantom feeds
about the victim’s fears and may take any form, such as a stranger
walking about the street or a family member.
